Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking an Engage Life Coordinator to develop and implement engaging programs for residents, enhancing their active aging lifestyle. You will tailor opportunities that delight residents and may act as manager on duty to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

You’ll lead programs, coordinate activities and calendars, and collaborate to keep residents connected with internal and external communities. Strong communication, planning, and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years experience coordinating group activities or events.
• Effective English communication, written and spoken.
• Proficient with standard office equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Driving responsibilities may be required with company vehicle or personal vehicle for outings.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel; comfortable with tablets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs and develop daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
• Help residents stay connected to others and participate in activities.
• Teach and lead exercises; assist with fitness equipment.
• Engage and motivate residents, including those in apartments, through spontaneous, meaningful activities.
• Welcome new residents and integrate them into community activities.
• Implement company programs and publish monthly calendars.
• Support operations to meet customer satisfaction standards.
• Open/close community procedures; act as manager on duty as needed.
• Engage in community PR and coordinate with Support Center for publicity.
• Coordinate departmental needs within budget.
• Hire, train, supervise and coach the Driver at the community; assist with volunteers.
• Assist in planning parties and events and seasonal decorations.
• Maintain clean, organized activity spaces; perform other duties as assigned.
