Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to plan and implement resident-centered activities and experiences that foster social connections and well-being.

You will collaborate with the community leadership team to create engaging calendars, organize events, and explore outreach opportunities to enhance resident quality of life while supporting sales and community goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience with adults, coordinating, planning, and executing programs is required.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a person-centered approach, building relationships among residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar with residents based on shared interests.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan and execute events (holiday, family, educational, marketing).
• Plans and schedules meaningful opportunities for resident engagement outside the community, possibly driving a community vehicle.
