Brookdale is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to plan monthly resident activities, build relationships, and collaborate with the community leadership team to host events. This role emphasizes person-centered care and enhancing resident experience within Brookdale communities.

Qualifications include at least 1 year coordinating programs for adults, a high school diploma or GED, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Travel and driving may be required in some communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs for adults.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a person-centered approach to build relationships among residents.
• Develops monthly calendars with residents and plans activities.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan and execute events (holiday, family, educational, and other marketing events).
• Plans meaningful engagement opportunities for residents, including possible community vehicle trips.
