Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow established menus and recipes to ensure high quality, taste, and presentation.

Focus on food safety, sanitation, and positive interactions with residents and staff. Competitive hourly pay ($20.00–$25.00) plus benefits and hands-on training are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, staff, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean and orderly.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
