Job summary

Waypoint Maine, Inc. is seeking an Assistant House Manager to support the House Manager in daily operations within residential services for adults with developmental disabilities.

This role models a positive team mindset, maintains open communication, and stays flexible to changing requirements. The position involves administrative duties, care coordination, and participation in staff scheduling, training, and safety processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to maintain a structured and organized work environment.
• Understanding of administrative duties and functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly fire drill and documentation per licensing and policies.
• Submit Home Monthly Checklist by the 8th of each month.
• Complete Monthly Med Room and MAR Review with House Manager.
• Support staff training requests and schedule in the home.
• Help with staff scheduling and overtime considerations.
• Follow agency policies and attend Safety Committee meetings.
• Monitor facility for repairs and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with vehicle maintenance.
• Coordinate member appointments and follow up on recommendations.
• Assist in payroll data gathering and timecard approvals.
• Assist in New Employee In-Home Orientation and PCP goals awareness.
• Mentor and develop co-workers; ensure consistent documentation.
• Collaborate on training for other Assistant House Managers.
• Assist with direct care responsibilities and required trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
