Job summary

New Communities seeks a DSP Team Leader to support adults with intellectual challenges in a full-time role in Maine. The leader will supervise the direct care team, coordinate staffing, and help residents reach their individual service plan goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Maine driver’s license required.
• One year in healthcare and one year supervisory experience preferred.
• English communication with residents and coworkers required.
• DSP, 40-hour CRMA, CPR/FA, and Behavioral Intervention Training within 120 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise direct care team and address performance issues.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure safe facility coverage.
• Assist residents in achieving service plan goals and provide personal care.
• Offer guidance to clients and staff during crises.
