Job summary

Midwest Health in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to manage resident services and ensure quality care in line with company policies and regulations. You will report to the Executive Director and oversee operations to maintain high standards of care.

The role requires confidentiality, adherence to protocols, and coordination of admissions, service agreements, and communications with families, physicians, and pharmacy to support residents.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (LPN or RN) and be in good standing with the state.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle per policy if required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Community policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect to Executive Director immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Review and supervise policies related to total patient care and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Monitor compliance with regulations including infection control and resident rights.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with state/federal requirements.
• Assist with Negotiated Service Agreements and communication with families.
• Participate in staff selection, orientation and coordination with physicians and pharmacy.
