Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator in Kansas to manage and direct resident services in a regulated care community.

You will ensure adherence to policies, maintain resident rights, and supervise admission processes and ongoing care with a focus on dignity and quality outcomes. You will coordinate with executives, physicians, and pharmacy services, support staff orientation, and oversee adherence to state and federal nursing care standards while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• Valid professional license (LPN or RN) in good standing with the state.
• CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Read, write, speak English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care and related regulations.
• Monitor and assist with compliance with state and federal regulations concerning nursing care.
• Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with system of periodic review and communication with families regarding agreement fulfillment.
• Participate in selection and orientation of staff and maintain communication with physicians and pharmacy.

Education

LPN or RN license (state-appropriate)
