Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to manage and direct resident services in accordance with company policies, standards of practice for operators, and governmental regulations to maintain quality care for all residents.

This role reports to the Executive Director. You will supervise staff, monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, assist with admissions and Resident Rights information, and maintain communication with families, physicians, and pharmacy as

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN or RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to relate to and work with ill, elderly and emotionally upset individuals.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care and state/federal regulations.
• Monitor and assist with compliance with regulations and laws concerning nursing care.
• Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with all state/federal requirements.
• Assist and execute the Negotiated Service Agreements and communicate with families.
• Participate in staff selection and orientation; coordinate with physicians and pharmacy as required.
