Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Newark, Delaware seeks a compassionate Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living.

You will report incidents, follow policies, assist with daily tasks, perform light housekeeping, respond to calls and emergencies, support activity programs, and help with move‑in transitions. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Perform light housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist residents with move-in transitions and participation in activities.
