Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities at our Newark, DE community.

You will report incidents, follow policies, assist with meals, activities, mobility, and emergencies, and participate in care planning. A high school diploma or GED and completion of a PCA program are required; willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid within 60 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Good communication, both verbal and written.
• Organized and able to work with all staff levels.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with meals, mobility, and personal tasks.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Follow confidentiality policies for resident information.
• Participate in activity planning and resident programs.
• Support move‑in transitions and provide emotional support.
