Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Hockessin, Delaware, is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities.

You will support meals, mobility, and engagement in activities while maintaining confidentiality. Must lift 50 lbs and complete PCA training; weekend/holiday flexibility preferred. Join a compassionate team focused on resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of approved personal care aide (PCA) program as applicable.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of staff.
• Willing to follow supervisor instructions and be a team player.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and assist transfers safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping in resident areas and common spaces.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting resident activity programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and communicate updates.
• Support move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
