Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities in a warm senior community. You will assist with mobility, dining, and activities, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering compassionate care.

The role requires current completion of a state-approved personal care aide program, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday flexibility is expected in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Effective communication verbally and in-writing.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Walk and stand for extended periods.
• Lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Wear designated uniform with name badge.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms, common areas, and dining areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Check on residents and monitor attendance at meals and activities.
• Report resident status and any concerns to appropriate staff.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Other duties as assigned.
