Job summary

PACS Group seeks a compassionate nursing aide to provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to care plans and supervisor directions. The role offers $21.00 per hour and requires assisting with daily living activities, monitoring residents, and maintaining a calm, supportive environment.

You will document observations and work under the Nurse Supervisor. Responsibilities include coordinating patient transfers, ensuring privacy, and following safety and infection-control protocols

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristband or photo ID.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain resident privacy and report any unauthorized access to information systems.
• Prepare resident rooms (beds, name tags, admission kits) and escort residents to their rooms.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and meals, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Support transfers and movement of residents and transport to receiving areas as needed.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and safety procedures.
• Observe for pressure areas and skin breakdown, monitor and report concerns.
