Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant for the NOC shift (10pm-6am) at Talamore Sun Prairie. You will provide hands-on care and support residents according to each service plan, helping with daily activities and safety needs.

Effective communication with residents, families, and the care team is essential, along with assisting in dining and group activities. CNA certification or related experience is preferred, with shift differentials and a 401(k) match offered.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living.
• Certification as Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or CNA preferred.
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

• Pay Range - $18-$22 depending on certification and experience.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings.
