Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a Resident Assistant in Minnesota to provide compassionate, hands-on care under each resident's service agreement. You will assist with daily living activities, participate in dining, and help with outings to enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Engage with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands‑on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. Responsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assists in the dining room and participating in activities and outings.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Assistresidents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) asindicatedon the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach andmaintainthe highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assistwith treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
