Job summary

PACS in Auburn, WA seeks an Admissions-oriented professional to manage the admissions process and drive census growth. You will oversee the Admissions Department, ensuring efficient, compassionate service for residents and families, while collaborating with nursing, case management, and other departments to optimize referrals.

Ideal candidate has a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and experience in admissions; LVN or RN license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Two years of admissions experience preferred.
• LVN or RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents, families and staff.
• Direct and monitor daily operations of the Admissions Department to meet census goals and ensure efficient admissions.
• Admit patients to the health care facility and screen against admission criteria.
• Complete admission and financial responsibility forms and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely care and discharge planning.
• Coordinate and assess transportation and support services as needed for admissions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with privacy regulations.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and communicate effectively with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners to maximize referrals.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field (preferred)

Two years Admissions experience (preferred)

LVN or RN license (preferred)
