Job summary

PACS is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support facility operations by increasing resident census. You will manage admissions, coordinate with nursing and case management, and ensure timely processing of intake and documentation while protecting patient information.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with admission criteria, and the ability to collaborate with physicians and discharge planners to maximize referrals.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• A Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Two years' Admissions experience preferred.
• LVN or RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents, families and staff.
• Direct and monitor daily operations of the Admissions Department to meet census goals.
• Admit patients to the health care facility and screen according to admission criteria.
• Coordinate with other departments to communicate information and referrals.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and protect patient data.
