You will help create a calendar, coordinate on- and off-site events, and support social engagement among residents with staff and volunteers. The role emphasizes warmth, compassion, and excellent communication, with the ability to organize, multi-task, and work independently while meeting state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have an Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record and proof of insurance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; creativity in planning activities.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director in planning and carrying out a program of activities for residents.
• Maintain documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
• Assist with in-facility and off-site activities to engage residents, including events and religious activities.
• Foster social interaction among residents through group activities and recreation.
• Encourage resident participation in activities.
• Coordinate with volunteers across activity programs.
• Assist in planning and preparing the monthly activity calendar.
