Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City is seeking a Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator for Internal Medicine to support a robust training program.

You'll work with the Program Director, Associate Directors, Chief Residents and the GME Office to ensure accreditation compliance, coordinate recruitment, onboarding and educational activities, and maintain documentation across the residency lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience; education may be substituted.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and residency programs.
• Experience with ERAS, ACGME, MedHub, Workday and Qgenda.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate annual Program Evaluation and CCC meetings including scheduling, material distribution, reporting and minutes.
• Ensure required reports are submitted to GME and ACGME by deadlines.
• Manage recruitment activities and interview logistics.
• Organize onboarding for incoming residents, licensing and workspace setup.
• Develop rotation schedules and obtain GMEC approval for changes.
• Prepare reports and surveys about the residency program.
