Phaxis seeks an Assistant Residence Supervisor for an OPWDD Group Home in Staten Island, NY. The role leads residential staff, supports scheduling, payroll, and emergency coverage, and ensures quality services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The candidate will oversee onboarding, coaching, training, and performance management while maintaining compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies, including coordination of individualized service plans and community activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an OPWDD residential/group home setting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Experience supervising Direct Support Professionals or residential staff.
• High School Diploma required (Associate's Degree in Health or Human Services preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to residential staff.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, payroll, and emergency coverage.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies.
• Oversee implementation of individualized service plans.
• Maintain documentation, financial records, and required residential reports.
• Coordinate community outings and recreational activities.
