Job summary

Global Refuge is seeking a Program Officer to review program policies, monitor affiliate resettlement programs, and ensure compliance with funders and standards. The role supports self-sufficiency, community integration, and knowledge management.

The candidate will conduct site visits, provide training and technical assistance, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen program delivery. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience delivering services to refugees, immigrants or limited English speakers.
• Experience with refugee resettlement programs (Reception and Placement, Matching Grant, Preferred Communities) is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret contract compliance, develop and deliver training, and provide technical assistance to service providers and staff.
• Excellent writing, reporting and editing skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate resettlement programs including ORR's PC Intensive Case Management, MG, and other funded programs.
• Analyze progress and trends; provide day-to-day technical assistance on compliance.
• Coordinate on-site and remote affiliate monitoring visits; review files, interview staff and clients, and review reports.
