Job summary

Global Refuge in the United States seeks a Program Officer reporting to the Senior Program Officer for Quality to review policies, monitor affiliate programs, and ensure timely, quality services to refugees. You will conduct site visits, provide training, and support program leadership, staff, and partners to advance self-sufficiency and community integration, with travel up to 25%.

You will collaborate across departments and with external partners to strengthen program outcomes and compliance

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, non-profit management or related field.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in services to refugees or immigrants.
• Experience with refugee resettlement programs such as Reception and Placement or Matching Grant is preferred.
• Experience interpreting contracts, developing and delivering training, and providing technical assistance.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to produce clear reports and interpret technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate resettlement programs including ORR’s PC, MG, and other funded programs.
• Analyze progress and capacity, determining trends with day-to-day technical assistance.
• Coordinate affiliate on-site and remote monitoring visits with stakeholders and staff.
• Write detailed site visit reports with recommendations and action plans.
• Conduct desk audits and Performance Improvement Plans after visits.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share resources.
• Develop monitoring tools and grant proposals as needed.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
