Job summary

Global Refuge is seeking a Senior Program Officer to lead compliance activities for resettlement programs under ORR, Global Refuge, and other funders. The role includes developing monitoring tools, delivering training and technical assistance, and supervising a team of Program Officers.

You will ensure timely, high-quality services to refugees and immigrants while aligning with organizational values. Travel up to 20% of the time and collaboration with partners are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, non-profit management or related field with 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience conducting site monitoring and developing monitoring tools and protocols.
• Experience in a local resettlement office or national office of a resettlement agency; programs like IPR, Matching Grant, or Preferred Communities preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; professional communication.
• Experience working with refugees/immigrants or limited English speakers; contract compliance interpretation and training.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up to date and detailed knowledge of program requirements.
• Develop and maintain data, information, and analysis on program outcomes and trends.
• Create and maintain tools and resources for distribution to the Global Refuge network.
• Design and provide quality network-wide training and technical assistance.
• Provide supervision and guidance to direct reports.
• Manage the monitoring schedule for site visits and desk audits.
• Review monitoring reports and desk audit reports.
• Support ORR monitoring of affiliates with site prep and responses to monitoring reports.
• Identify trends to inform network training and TA needs.
• Coordinate with RCUSA partners to ensure consistency in service delivery.
• Other duties to support departments as assigned.
