40 National Emergency Management and Response is looking for highly motivated EMT reservists in Wisconsin to provide essential medical support during emergencies. Candidates must have a current EMT certification, commitment to respond within 24-48 hours, and be able to perform various medical duties.
The position requires effective communication, teamwork, and compliance with safety policies. EMT reservists will be deployed for incidents like hurricanes and mass shootings, with payment based on hours worked.
National EMR seeks highly motivated EMT reservists to provide essential medical support on an “as needed basis” during all-hazards incidents. Reservists are committed to working intermittently, deploying within 24–48 hours, and will be paid for the actual number of hours worked.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Registered current EMT‑Intermediate or Advanced EMT certification or license in the state of residence. Preferred: certification or license in Texas. Current NREMT preferred. Desired additional certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
Minimum of one (1) year experience as an EMT.
All courses must be completed within 3 months of hire; otherwise, employment may be terminated.
Reservists are voluntarily committed to emergency response and may be deployed to a variety of incidents such as hurricanes, mass shootings, wildfires, and other all‑hazards events. Deployment frequency and length are not guaranteed. National EMR pays for actual hours worked.
