Job summary

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) Georgia/South Georgia seeks a Research Program Coordinator under the Division of Research to coordinate, facilitate and expand research activities, form partnerships with universities and healthcare centers across GA, and support faculty and students.

This in-person role is based at PCOM Georgia in Suwanee, with occasional travel to PCOM South Georgia and PCOM Philadelphia; the RPC will report to the Chief Research and Science Officer and

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of research experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong administrative, managerial, networking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute research-related events at PCOM GA/SGA (Research Day, guest speakers, webinars).
  • Manage internally-funded research projects (fund allocation, reporting, procurement).
  • Cultivate collaborations with faculty and students across programs to expand research.
  • Promote partnerships with scientific and healthcare communities in Georgia to increase opportunities for students.
  • Assist faculty in developing and submitting proposals for extramural funding with the grant administrator.
