Job summary

Downtown Evansville Inc. seeks a customer-focused frontline associate to assist patrons, promote the Players Club, and maintain daily operations inside the casino environment.

We require strong communication, time management, and attention to detail. High school or better education, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package with 401(k), paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with general information.
• Promote Players Club membership.
• Educate patrons on Players Club benefits.
• Maintain daily procedures for Players Club members, including ID checks and filing.
• Distribute information as requested.
• Manage coupons and promotions on property.
• Make public announcements or special announcements.
• Handle direct mail inquiries and update patron accounts.

Job description

• Responsible for assisting all patrons with general information.


• Responsible for promoting membership into the Players Club.


• Responsible for educating patrons on the Players Club benefits.


• Responsible for maintaining daily procedures regarding the Players Club members, which includes discerning appropriate identification, filing and record keeping.


• Responsible for the issuance of information desired to be distributed.


• Responsible for coupons and promotions on property.


• Responsible for making public announcements or special announcements.


• Responsible for direct mail inquiries to include updating patrons account information and related duties.


• Responsible for taking Jackpot Photo’s and filling out the proper documentation for publicity.


• Responsible for cleaning the Players Club, marketing kiosks, and signage on Casino.


• Assists with the resolution of player complaints and problems.


• Assists with promotional item implementation, distribution, and redemption.


• Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.


• Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds.


• Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).


• Always follow the Company Service Standards model.


• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.


• Other duties may be assigned at any time.

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.

Target Salary Range:

Hourly $15.00
