Job summary

Bally's Evansville is seeking an enthusiastic emcee and promotions assistant to support daily prize promotions and guest engagement. You will deliver public announcements, promote rewards card benefits, and help manage Players Club activities in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will also assist with promotions, tournaments, and promotions-related duties while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and company standards. This role is on-site and requires flexibility for various hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily set-up, execution and emcee duties for daily casino prize giveaways.
• Promote Bally's products, services, events and promotions via the public address system.
• Educate players on Bally's Rewards card benefits and usage.
• Interact with casino guests regarding promotions and events.
• Assist with greeting guests and with emcee functions for weekly slot tournaments.
• Maintain daily procedures for Players Club members and cash drawer balancing.
• Assist with coupon promotions and promotional mail inquiries.
• Resolve player complaints and coordinate with other departments.
• Follow Indiana Gaming regulations and internal controls.

Job description

• Responsible for assisting with the daily set-up, execution, and related emcee functions of daily casino prize giveaway promotions.
• Promotes the company’s products, services, events, and promotions via public address system.
• Educates players in the understanding, application, and usage of the company’s Rewards card to include its benefits.
• Interacts with all casino customers relating to all promotional events.
• Responsible for assisting with all paperwork and accountability.Executes property promotions and special events.
• Responsible for assisting with greeting all guests.
• Responsible for assisting with the emcee functions of weekly slot tournaments as assigned.
• Responsible for maintaining daily procedures regarding the Players Club members which includes, discerning appropriate identification, filing and record keeping.
• Responsible for assisting with maintain and balancing a cash drawer.
• Responsible for assisting with coupons and newspaper promotions regarding gaming specials and promotions on property.
• Responsible for making public announcements or special announcements.
• Responsible for assisting with direct mail inquiries to include updating customer account information and related duties.
• Assists with the resolution of player complaints and problems.
• Assists with promotional item implementation, distribution, and redemption.
• Reports customer problems to other appropriate department for resolution.
• Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
• Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.

The Casino industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates.
