Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate in Troy, AL. You will help customers locate products, provide friendly checkout, and support store operations including stock, planograms, and omnichannel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

You will engage shoppers with the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, while maintaining a positive store presence and following SOPs to ensure a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong communication and sale skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards, Private Label Credit Card enrollments, and VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store) and omnichannel SOPs.
• Support stock, planograms, and store recovery; maintain in-stock condition.
