Job summary

Michaels - Store Birmingham, AL is seeking a team member to help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions. You will ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling, promote the Rewards program and card enrollments, and support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

You may assist with merchandising, stock, and framing tasks. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to assist customers, answer questions and locate products.
• Strong cash handling and checkout experience.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; perform cash handling to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Support stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery.
• Participate in store in stock optimization and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact respectfully with team and customers; model company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
