Michaels is looking for a store associate at our Birmingham Highland location to help customers, stock merchandise, and run fast, friendly checkouts. You’ll promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, enroll customers, and participate in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store.

This role supports store recovery, merchandising accuracy, and a positive shopping environment. Responsibilities include assisting with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms, while

Qualificações

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes when needed.
• Flexibility with shifts including nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsabilidades

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock store
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and team with a positive, respectful attitude
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
