Job summary

Michaels is seeking store team members for the Troy, MI location to provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding products. You will handle checkout, enroll customers in Rewards programs, and support in-store merchandising and restocking.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, are able to stand for long periods, and work various shifts including nights and weekends. Benefits and team discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery, stock levels, and merchandise displays to ensure an in-stock, well-merchandised store.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
