Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring Multiple Repair Technicians in La Vergne, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Test and diagnostics of notebooks and servers.
• Repair or replace parts as necessary for notebooks and servers
• Troubleshoots technical issues and complete applicable documentation.
• Use of tools and test equipment of various types, to diagnose issues with notebooks and servers
• Document and communicate repair issues to engineering
• Data Collection and analysis for use in problem solving a continuous improvement.
• Responsible for ensuring product quality through repairing and testing of product to ensure specifications are met.
• Troubleshoots electromechanical products, documents issues, and reports potential quality related problems to quality management.

Schedule

• Schedule Monday - Friday
• 1st shift
• Schedule A - 6am - 2:30pm
• Schedule B - 7:00am-3:30pm
• 2nd shift
• Schedule A - 3:30pm - 12am
• Schedule B - 4:30pm-1:00am
• 3rd shift
• Schedule A - Sunday 8pm - 6:30am / Monday - Thursday 12am - 6:30am
• Schedule B - Monday - Friday 11pm - 6am

Qualifications

• Able to identify potential quality related problems quickly and concisely.
• Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent planning and organization abilities.
• Able to complete projects under tight deadlines, even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Pay rate: $23.50 - $30.62 per hour - depending on shift *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
