The position is a full-time contract with responsibilities spanning PC/server troubleshooting, maintenance, OS support, and network assistance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT support and can work in both remote and onsite environments. Strong hardware/telecom maintenance and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Achieve more with VoltVolt is immediately hiring for Desktop Support Lead in Overland Park, KS

This is a full-time contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Be configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring the functioning of personal computers and server systems.
• Be undertaking pre-emptive maintenance on telecommunication equipment, escalating issues which are unresolved.
• Be supporting different operating systems, besides Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN), and respond to phone calls, messages and emails relating to system issues or hardware problems.
• Be keeping abreast of equipment and hardware contracts, deploying products quickly to address crucial business needs of an organization.
• Be providing help with network issues, working along with other members of the IT team to install new software.
• Be providing assistance in maintaining inventory of peripheral devices of all systems, creating documentation of computer hardware issues and troubleshooting on one of the latest versions of operating systems, such as Windows or macOS or UNIX/Linux.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years IT support.
• Expertise in OS and knowledge in networking and software installation.
• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix, SCCM, Autopilot, and Active Directory.
• Experience working in both remote and onsite environments.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
