Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Business Development Manager – Repair & Remodel to develop and execute market strategies for national and regional dealers and remodelers in the Southeast. You will drive conversion, expand market share, and collaborate with the Director of Strategic Accounts.

The role requires a proven outside sales background, willingness to travel up to 70%, and the ability to train customers and partners while building long-term relationships across brands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales, channel sales, contractor sales, building products, remodeling, construction, or related industries.
• Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and drive sales growth.
• Experience delivering customer training and presentations.
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with specialty dealers, remodeling contractors, installers, and key customer accounts across the territory.
• Serve as the primary field representative and trusted advisor, delivering excellent support and responsiveness.
• Drive sales growth by increasing product adoption, market share, customer revenue, and brand presence.
• Partner with distributor sales teams to conduct joint sales calls and targeted initiatives.
• Provide consultative business support to customers by identifying growth opportunities and action plans.
• Deliver product, sales, and in-home selling training programs to enhance knowledge and selling effectiveness.
• Plan and support educational events, plant tours, trade shows, home shows, and other activities to generate leads.
