Apex Industrial Automation in Romeoville, IL is seeking an organized and proactive Repair Department Coordinator to manage the day-to-day workflow of the service and repair floor. You will own the Work in Progress (WIP) and incoming areas—handling intake processing, testing, parts management, inventory staging, and logistics.

Responsibilities include service intake and diagnostics, WIP area ownership, parts/inventory management, returns dispositions, and balancing tasks as capacity permits.

Competenze

• Experience in a warehouse, repair facility, or shop environment handling parts and inventory.
• Strong familiarity with enterprise resource planning and tracking tools; P21 experience is a strong advantage.
• Technical aptitude with Meg testing or basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Mansioni

• Complete service order write-ups with incoming product photos.
• Take ownership of the incoming and WIP areas, keep the floor organized and safe.
• Oversee parts receiving, matching parts to jobs, and update tracking in the P21 system.
• Coordinate non-repair dispositions and staging for customer return or disposal.
• Assist with balancing tasks as capacity allows.
