Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and proactive Repair Department Coordinator to manage the day-to-day workflow of our service and repair floor. In this role, you will take full ownership of the Work in Progress (WIP) and incoming areas—handling everything from initial intake processing and testing to parts management, inventory staging, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
Service Intake & Diagnostics
  • Complete thorough service order write-ups, including capturing and logging incoming product photos.
  • Perform initial Meg testing to accurately evaluate equipment condition and determine whether a unit should be repaired or replaced.
WIP & Area Ownership
  • Take complete ownership of the incoming and WIP areas, keeping the floor organized, efficient, and safe.
  • Manage bin locations within the WIP area, ensuring all jobs are properly put away and assigned correct bin designations in both physical paperwork and the P21 system.
Parts & Inventory Management
  • Oversee parts receiving, matching parts directly with their corresponding jobs.
  • Manage paperwork routing, update physical tracking magnets, and update service priorities within the P21 system.
  • Oversee pallet management, including ordering new pallets and coordinating the disposal of old ones.
Returns & Non-Repair Dispositions
  • Coordinate non-repair jobs by getting them properly staged and skidded for customer return.
  • Handle the scrapping process for any non-return items according to company policy.
Balancing
  • Assist with balancing tasks as time and department capacity permit.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Previous background in a warehouse, repair facility, or shop environment handling parts, inventory, or service coordination.
  • Systems Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing enterprise resource planning and tracking tools (experience with P21 is a strong advantage).
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with basic electrical testing (such as Meg testing) or mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong physical organization skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
