Job summary

Papé Machinery, Inc. – Construction & Forestry Division in Sacramento, CA seeks a Rental Territory Manager to drive short-term rental revenue within a defined territory.

You will report to the Regional Rental Manager and aggressively pursue rental opportunities while maintaining strong customer relationships. Expect a base salary plus commission, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in heavy equipment rentals.
• Knowledge and experience with heavy equipment preferred; John Deere knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with equipment rentals and Rhode Island is not relevant here; strong customer relations and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the short-term rental fleet in your assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the Regional Rental Manager on opportunities and documentation.
• Spend a minimum of 80% of time calling on customers and reviewing rental leads within 24 hours.
• Build relationships with re-rental partners to grow department revenue.
• Monitor fleet usage and territory management to meet rental goals.
• Drive sales growth while representing Papé in a professional manner.
