Job summary

Papé Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Rental Territory Manager to lead and grow the Bay Area rental operations from Fremont, CA.

This front-line sales role focuses on driving rental opportunities, maintaining a strong customer base, and coordinating with the rental team to ensure timely documentation and service. The ideal candidate will spend most of their time meeting customers, processing leads within 24 hours, and expanding revenue through solid partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Spend at least 80% of working time in front of customers.
• Respond to and process all incoming rental leads within 24 hours.
• Grow department revenue by building strong re-rental partnerships.
• Keep the fleet working by identifying under-utilized units and putting them to use.
• Manage time and territory to meet and exceed the rental department’s goals.
