GSP Transportation is hiring a Rental Return Agent in West Columbia, SC. You will provide friendly, efficient service during the rental return process and assist customers with the vehicle and related charges.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, inspecting vehicles, processing charges, and maintaining the lot and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work all required shifts.
• Ability to solve problems with accuracy and speed.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, typing, and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Enjoys working closely with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers as they arrive.
• Assist customers with luggage.
• Explain and review rental charges and provide an accurate receipt.
• Inquire about service and satisfaction.
• Inspect the vehicle and determine the fuel tank level.
• Complete a service alert for any reported damages.
• Identify vehicles on hold and verify movement to the proper lot location.
• Assist the service department with vehicle cleaning as needed.
• Keep the lot organized for easy access and smooth traffic flow.
• Maintain knowledge of rental/return documents, fuel services, surcharges, and optional coverage.
• Understand the damage/loss reporting procedure.
• Perform additional related duties as required.
