GSP Transportation Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Rental Return Agent to provide superior, friendly, and efficient service throughout the rental car process and assist customers with the rental return.

You will greet customers, inspect vehicles, review charges, and maintain knowledge of rental documents, fuel services, surcharges, and coverage. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a customer-service and sales orientation, with opportunities for advancement and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Must show proof of a valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR
• Must be 21 years of age or have a driver's license for 3 years
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, typing, and some experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to complete tasks with precision, speed, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work well with a team
• Customer service and sales orientation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive and assist with luggage
• Advise and review rental charges and provide accurate receipts
• Inquire about service and satisfaction to ensure a positive experience
• Inspect vehicles and determine fuel level
• Complete a service alert for any reported damage
• Identify vehicles on hold and verify movement to the correct lot
• Assist service department with vehicle cleaning as needed
• Keep the lot organized for easy access and traffic flow
• Maintain knowledge of rental documents, fuel services, surcharges, and coverage
• Understand the damage/loss reporting procedure
• Perform additional related duties as required or assigned
• Understand and adhere to company policies and safety procedures
