GSP Transportation Inc. in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Rental Return Agent to provide superior, friendly, and efficient service throughout the rental process and assist customers with the return.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with luggage, reviewing rental charges and providing accurate receipts, inspecting vehicles for damage, and keeping the lot organized. The role requires basic computer skills and a high school diploma, plus a valid driver's license and 21+ age

Qualifications

• Must show proof of a valid driver's license and satisfactory (MVR).
• Must be 21 years of age or have a driver's license for 3 years.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, typing, and some experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to complete tasks with precision, speed, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Customer service and sales orientation.
• Passion for helping others.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers as they arrive.
• Assist customers with luggage.
• Advise and review rental charges and provide an accurate receipt.
• Inquire about service and satisfaction.
• Inspect the vehicle and determine the fuel tank level.
• Complete a service alert for any mechanical or body damage reported by customers.
• Identify vehicles on hold for turnback, time, mileage, recall, or other locks, and verify their movement to the proper lot location.
• Assist the service department with vehicle cleaning as needed.
• Keep the lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow.
• Maintain knowledge of rental/return documents, fuel services, surcharges, and optional coverage.
• Understand the damage/loss reporting procedure.
• Perform additional related duties as required or assigned.
