Job summary

Rent-A-Center, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to oversee rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive account performance. The role includes delivery/pickup duties, early-stage collections, and building strong customer relationships within our RAC framework.

The position offers full-time hours, in-store and field responsibilities, and opportunities for advancement based on performance and company needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and operate a box truck.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using account management tools.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, by phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
