Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Reno, NV to identify and nurture business relationships, visit client sites, and drive revenue growth for the local branch.

Develop sales strategies, manage the territory daily, and work to meet quotas while delivering excellent customer service. Preferred background includes outside sales and a Bachelor’s degree with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience in the industrial market or heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising, Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business with professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them by phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis.
• Identify customer needs and respond while understanding market conditions and pricing.
• Penetrate customers at strategic level to diversify the customer base.
• Support all team members and collaborate with others to win opportunities.
