Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. in Sparks, NV is seeking a Rental Territory Manager to drive short-term rental sales across a defined territory. You will report to the Regional Rental Manager and focus on promoting the rental fleet to customers with a goal of growing revenue.

Daily duties include following up on leads within 24 hours, building relationships with re-rental partners, and ensuring timely documentation. This role emphasizes 80% outbound calling and territory growth.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in heavy equipment sales.
• Knowledge and experience of heavy equipment preferred; John Deere knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of equipment rentals is ideal.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promote short-term rental fleet within territory.
• Collaborate with Regional Rental Manager to coordinate opportunities.
• Submit required documentation in a timely manner.
• Spend 80% of time calling on customers, individually or with others.
• Build relationships with re-rental partners to grow revenue.
• Monitor fleet usage and territory management to hit goals.
