Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Director of Project Controls to lead the project controls department for the renewables market. You will manage earned value, scheduling, cost and change control, forecasting, and team development, reporting to the strategic leadership team.

You will drive process improvements, mentor staff, and ensure data-driven decisions across projects. Travel up to 30% and locations include Centennial-CO, Phoenix-AZ, Fargo-ND, Indianapolis-IN or Dallas-TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP/PSP/PSPPMI-SP certification preferred.
• 15+ years in project management and/or project controls.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Renewable energy construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee back-office project controls including earned value management, budget/cost estimating, scheduling, and forecasting.
• Lead scheduling efforts: baseline, progress, labor forecasts, reporting.
• Provide data-driven reporting on costs, productivity, and forecasts.
• Coordinate development and baselining of project estimates with estimating and operations.
• Mentor and develop the project controls team; recruit and retain talent.
• Drive process improvements and promote a culture of safety and integrity.
