Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Director of Project Controls for solar projects, guiding earned value, scheduling, cost, and forecasting across multiple regional offices. Expect 30% travel to Centennial, Phoenix, Fargo, Indianapolis, and Dallas.

You will shape processes, mentor staff, and deliver data-driven insights to improve safety, quality, and project performance. This leadership role requires extensive renewables controls experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related major.
• 15+ years of experience in project management and/or project controls.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Renewable energy construction experience preferred.
• PMP/PSP certification and/or PSPPMI-SP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls team across multiple operating groups.
• Oversee scheduling, cost control, and forecasting activities.
• Develop and maintain project controls SOPs and reporting.
• Provide data-driven insights for cost, schedule, and productivity.
• Mentor and develop project controls staff.
