Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Renewable Energy Civil Project Engineer to design and deliver projects supporting permitting and construction of renewable energy facilities.

The role requires applying general engineering knowledge to independently design a complete project and guide staff engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate will hold a ABET-accredited civil engineering degree, 2–4 years of A&E experience, and EIT certification with a PE preferred, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 2–4 years of experience in the A&E industry.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete designs and deliverables supporting permitting, design, and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Direct and review work by staff engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with design team members to meet stakeholder requirements and codes.
• Provide clear directions for staff and assist Lead Engineers when needed.
• Develop understanding of the project lifecycle in your engineering area.
