Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to support renewable energy projects across the country from offices in the Mid- Atlantic or the Northeast. You will engage in permitting, design, and construction phases, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS preferred) and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, with Hydro CAD experience and a PE preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in renewable energy projects.
• PE certification preferred; strong communication skills.
• Experience with Hydro CAD and stormwater modeling tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil, land development, stormwater, and utility designs for renewable energy projects.
• Prepare and submit permit applications and represent clients at public hearings.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Support permitting, design, and construction phases of development projects.
