Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Renewables Civil Project Engineer to design and deliver permitting-ready civil components for renewable energy projects. You will lead design tasks, supervise staff, and coordinate with other disciplines to meet project milestones.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to codes, and ongoing professional growth within a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential as projects progress through lifecycle

Qualifications

Complete all designs and deliverables to support permitting, design, and construction.
Collaborate with design team members to meet stakeholder requirements and codes.
Provide clear directions for Staff Engineers and Technicians.
Support Lead Engineers and cover in their absence.
Develop understanding of project lifecycle in your technical area.

Responsibilities

Apply broad engineering principles to projects and adapt standard techniques and criteria.
Independently evaluate, select, and adapt design methods and criteria.
Gain specialized knowledge and develop engineering skills through mentored experiences.
Work on multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Collaborate with internal staff to uphold company standards and consistency.
